Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry to Once Again Participate in Annual Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5k Run & Walk
CGMB Joins Warriors for a Cause to Help Raise Money for the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation
All four partners of Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry (CGMB) will once again participate in the annual Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, being held this year on Sunday, September 24th. The annual event, in which CGMB has been participating for the past few years, raises money for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the not-for-profit organization with the mission of honoring the sacrifice of Stephen Siller, the firefighter who laid down his life to help others on September 11th, as well as honoring our military and first responders who continue to make supreme sacrifices for our country.
This year, in addition to partners Rick Collins, Marc Gann, Gerard McCloskey and Dave Barry all taking part in the 5K, CGMB associate Phil Nash, Yesenia Niosi, and the newest addition to the staff Christina Amador will also participate in the event. CGMB will once again be part of the “Warriors for a Cause” team, joining with Warriors for a Cause in the run/walk and together raising money for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Rick Collins is a founding member and elected director of Warriors for a Cause – a group of diversified individuals who work with foundations and charities to help build public awareness and achieve fundraising goals, which to date has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charities.
The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers to save lives. The goal of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to continue Stephen’s legacy by supporting our nation’s first responders and service members. Building for America’s Bravest, a program of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, constructs specially adapted smart homes for our most catastrophically injured service members. The Run/Walk traces the steps that Stephen Siller took on September 11th from the tunnel to the World Trade Center towers.
