Hofstra Sports Safety Conference Helps Spread The Word About Keeping Kids Safe On The Playing Field
DA Kathleen Rice Thanks Presenter Rick Collins and CMG for Role in Making Conference a Success
The recent Sports Safety Conference held at Hofstra University, orchestrated by the Long Island Youth Safety Coalition (www.liyouthsafetycoalition.org), was a resounding success – with more than 200 attendees representing schools and sports organizations throughout Long Island. CMG partner Rick Collins was pleased to be part of the expert lineup of top presenters selected to speak at this important conference, and his workshop “Your Kids on Steroids” proved to be one of the day’s biggest draws.
Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice, who formed the Long Island Youth Safety Coalition in response to the dangers facing teens today, recently reached out to Rick Collins to thank him for his role as a knowledgeable presenter at the conference – and to commend him for his “dedication to keeping our youth safe.” In addition, she also thanked Collins, McDonald & Gann for the firm’s support and their role as Luncheon Sponsor for this important conference.
Rick and CMG remain honored to have been part of this year’s Sports Safety Conference and look forward to continuing to participate with the Coalition on other activities to come. In addition, as the issue of teens and steroids continues to be an important subject for schools and families in the years to come, Rick will continue to provide his insight into the topic at other upcoming forums – from speaking engagements to media interviews about this timely news topic – so make sure to follow Rick Collins on Facebook at www.facebook.com/rickcollinsonline and twitter at www.twitter.com/RickCollinsEsq … and follow him on his Huffington Post blog at www.huffingtonpost.com/rick-collins.
